Brooks Koepka has made a couple of huge changes to his setup in 2020. Let’s take a closer look
Brooks Koepka is a free agent, so what is he using for 2020? Let’s take a look…
What’s in Koepka’s bag?
Koepka had put the new TaylorMade SIM Max driver in play for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, his first event of 2020, but had reverted to the TaylorMade M5 he used in 2019 for the start of the Saudi International.
No real surprise here, the M5 offered much more adjustability than the SIM, but there was a huge shock on day three in Saudi Arabia when he was pictured using the Callaway Mavrik driver.
He has however put the M5 back in play for the PGA Championship.
He has stuck with his TaylorMade M2 Tour HL fairway wood. I wonder if we will see this get replaced this season – the SIM fairway woods were impressive in testing so could make an appearance in his bag. But this is Brooks Koepka so expect the unexpected.
Brooks infamous Nike Vapour 3-iron is yet to be spotted in 2020 and in its place is a TaylorMade P790 UDI. He then carries a full set of Mizuno JPX919 Tour irons.
Brooks has been spotted testing the new SM8 wedges but for now he is relying on his Vokey SM7s as well as a SM4 TVD 60-degree wedge.
He uses a Tour only Scotty Cameron T10 Select Newport 2 that has been fitted with a soft Beryllium insert.
Brooks rounds out his bag with the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.
